Buy the Hub ($99 one-time) from the pricing page. Your welcome email contains a download link for OstlerInstaller.dmg and a one-time licence file. Drag the installer to /Applications, double-click to start, and follow the 15-question guided setup. Once the Hub is running, install the Ostler iOS app from the App Store to start your free 30 days of Ostler Pro. The Hub runs entirely on your Mac, so it is offline whenever the Mac is asleep, shut down, or off the network. Wake the Mac and the assistant reconnects automatically. The iOS app shows a clear "Hub offline" banner so you know the difference between a stale answer and a fresh one. For diagnostics, open the Doctor panel at http://localhost:8089/doctor on the Hub itself.
If you have lost your original welcome email, write to [email protected] from the email address you used at purchase and we will reissue your licence file within one business day. Licences are tied to your purchase, not to a specific Mac, so reinstalling on new hardware uses the same licence.
Run the uninstaller bundled in OstlerInstaller.app from your Applications folder. It removes the engine under ~/.ostler/, stops the local services, and leaves your visible data zone at ~/Documents/Ostler/ intact so you keep your conversations, wiki pages, and exports. Write to [email protected]. Include your purchase email, a short description of what is happening, and any relevant log output. The Hub installer has a "Copy log (redacted)" option that strips personal identifiers before you paste; please use that rather than the raw log.
